The idea of an elevator pitch is to convince someone of your position on a topic that you can communicate in the short time you might be in an elevator with a decision maker.

Let’s say your elevator gives you three minutes. Develop an elevator pitch for why open is better in the kind of work you do. Practice it many times! Then make a video or an audio recording to enter as an example of your work (Videos should be published to YouTube or Vimeo, Audio can be published to SoundCloud). You do nor necessarily to have your face on the video, it’s the sound that counts.
